This Privacy Policy explains what data Tracewall collects, why, and your choices. We aim to collect only what we need to run the Service.
1. What we collect
- Account data — your name, work email, brand/company, and password (stored only as a hash).
- Configuration data — the products you monitor, MAP values, and authorized-seller lists you provide.
- Marketplace data — public listing information we scan for your tracked products (seller aliases, prices, Buy Box state, timestamps, screenshots).
- Usage & device data — logs and, with your consent, analytics about how you use the site.
- Billing data — handled by Paddle, our merchant of record; we do not store card details.
2. How we use it
- To provide monitoring, detection, evidence capture, reports, and alerts.
- To operate, secure, and improve the Service.
- To communicate with you about your account, alerts, and updates.
- With consent, to measure and improve marketing and the website.
3. Legal bases (EEA/UK)
We process data to perform our contract with you, for our legitimate interests in running and improving the Service, to comply with legal obligations, and — for non-essential analytics — on the basis of your consent.
4. Sharing and subprocessors
We share data only with service providers that help us operate, under appropriate terms, including:
- Cloud hosting and database providers;
- Paddle (payments / merchant of record);
- A transactional email provider (alerts and account emails);
- Licensed marketplace-data providers (to acquire public listing data);
- Analytics providers (only with your consent — see our Cookie Policy).
5. Data retention
Evidence records are retained long-term because they are the legal and enforcement value you rely on — we do not auto-purge them. Bulk data such as raw price observations may be aggregated or pruned over time. On account closure, we make your data available for export before deletion, except where we must retain it to meet legal obligations.
6. Security
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, isolate tenant data, and apply least-privilege access. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your data.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Contact us to exercise these rights.
8. International transfers
We may process data in countries other than yours, using appropriate safeguards where required.
